The accusation is of killing of Puja Kumari, daughter of informant, Ngo Devi, by her husband and in-laws for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry and to disposed off her dead body.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that, in fact, deceased was pregnant and she consumed medicine and due to reaction of such medicine she died and her parents was also informed about the same and the informant participated in the funeral but later on he lodged the present case against the
