2/18.09.2019 Heard Mr. Mahesh Tewari, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Deepak Kumar, learned counsel for the State.
Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 101 of 2006, corresponding to S.T. No. 298 of 2019.
Allegations reveal that there was a demand of Rajdoot Motorcycle or cash of Rs. 50,000/- and on nonfulfillment of which the daughter of the informant was subjected to torture. On 16.08.2016 the dead body of the daughter of informant was recovered from the well. The petitioner no.1 is the paternal uncle in law and the petitioner nos. 2 and 3 the brother in law of the deceased. There appears to be general and omnibus allegations leveled against the petitioners and even from the postmortem report the cause of death could not be ascertained. It has been stated that all the petitioners are residing separately and the petitioner no.1 is in custody since 18.02.2019, petitioner no.2 is in custody since 30.01.2019 and petitioner no.3 is in custody since 16.04.2019.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioners, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Giridih, in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 101 of 2006, corresponding to S.T. No. 298 of 2019.
