The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the son of this petitioner was involved in commission of the murder of the deceased, i.e. the husband of the informant. The only allegation against this petitioner is that when her son returned having blood stains on his clothes, she tried to wash the same.
In view of the nature of allegation, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, petitioner namely, Puniya Devi is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Kumari Nitika, Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Bero P.S. Case No. 75 of 2017 [G.R. No. 5597/2017].
