Learned Addl. P.P. for the State opposes the prayer.
The petitioner is an accused for the offences punishable under section
25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of the Arms Act.
From the possession of this petitioner one country made pistol was recovered.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.10.2017 and the charge sheet has already been filed in this case.
Taking into consideration the period of custody and the fact that the charge sheet has already been filed in this case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Nandlal Mandal @ Nandu Mandal is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Deoghar, in connection with Deoghar (Town) P.S. Case No. 660 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 1817 of 2017.
