Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.

The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 120B IPC in connection with Sadar Police Station Case No. 360 of 2017 (G.R. No. 1564 of 2017), pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

It is alleged that petitioner forced the informant and his cousin brother to open a bank account in State Bank of India. After opening the account the petitioner kept the pass book and ATM Cards with him. Later on the informant came to know that the account was closed and transactions made in the said account was illegal.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. He submits that informant only to save his skin filed a case against the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 21.11.2017 and charge has been framed in this case on 18.01.2018 and he undertakes to face trial.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid submissions, I am inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra in connection with Sadar Police Station Case No. 360 of 2017 (G.R. No. 1564 of 2017), subject to the condition that petitioner shall appear before the trial court on each and every date during trial, failing which his bail bond shall stand cancelled and trial court shall take all possible steps for his apprehension.
