The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No.42 of 2009, corresponding to G.R. No.735 of 2009, for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 457, 436, 380 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 10 / 13 of the U.A.P. Act.

There is allegation against large number of the members of the extremists group to have taken away the household articles and to have burnt the house of the informant.

In the facts of this case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, Maqsud Khan @ Maksud Alam, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Chatra, in connection with, Pratappur P.S. Case No.42 of 2009, corresponding to G.R. No.735 of 2009.
