James Soren Alias Jema Soren Vs The State Of Jharkhand

Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 323, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Pakur Mahila P.S. Case No.35 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.851 of 2015.

Petitioner is the husband of the informant and there is allegation against the petitioner to have subjected his wife to cruelty and torture for demand of dowry.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case has been compromised between the parties.

Learned counsel for the informant also accepts the compromise.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner James Soren @ Jems Soren is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pakur, in connection with Pakur Mahila P.S. Case No.35 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.851 of 2015.
