Heard Mr. B.M. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Dhar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 and 4 who submits that in terms of the order of this Court the reviewing authority has reviewed the ACR of the petitioner and issued order dated 15-11-2022 rejecting the plea of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives in this contempt case.
I have perused the order dated 15-11-2022 and find that same gives rise to a fresh cause of action for the petitioner.
In view of the above, by retaining a copy of the order dated 15-11-2022 with the record of this case, the contempt case is closed. The petitioner would, however, be at liberty to challenge the order dated 15-11-2022 by filing appropriate petition, if so advised.
