Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that entire amount due to the petitioner on account of execution of work has been paid, however, the security has not been released.
Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions from Raghbir Singh, Executive Engineer, Drainage Division, Gurdaspur, submitted that the petitioner may file application for release of the security deposited by him, which shall be refunded in terms of conditions contained in the contract.
In view of the stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition stands disposed of.
