In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay his salary from October, 2008 till date which has been withheld illegally and further for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing Annexures P-3 and P-6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in response to the notice dated 2.3.2010 (Annexure P-7) the petitioner has submitted a reply dated 11.3.2010 (Annexure P-8) to respondent No.2 for the same relief as claimed in this writ petition but no action has been taken thereon so far and he shall feel satisfied if a direction is issued to him to take a decision on the same in a given time frame.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the file, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take a decision on the reply (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
