Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the

This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 498A, 326 and 494 of the Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

There is allegation of demand and subjecting cruelty. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep the victim-wife with due dignity.

Hence, having regard to the facts and

circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on interim bail for four months on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Complaint Case No. 1366C of 2008 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif, subject to the condition that within one month of the release of the petitioner, he shall either keep his victim-wife with due dignity or if for any reason the victim-wife is not ready to live with him, then, shall pay maintenance worth Rs.1000/- per month, till higher maintenance decided by the competent Court and the Court below, on being satisfied, that the
