The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 47 (a) of the Excise Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the petitioner’s possession and his name cropped up only on the basis of statement of co-accused. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that similarly situated co-accused Gautam Kumar has been granted bail by this Court vide Order dated 05.07.2013 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19008 of 2013.
