JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 19-02-2013 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being father of the husband of the informant is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of killing the sister of the informant within one year of the marriage when postmortem reflects ligature mark suggesting the death by hanging.
It is submitted that the accusation is specific against the husband of the victim as it is alleged that the husband of the victim has illicit relationship with the sister in law and there is demand of rupees five lacs when the petitioner is more than eighty years of age.
Considering the thrust of accusation against the husband of the victim, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the

learned Court below within a period of twelve weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Darbhanga in connection with Keoti P.S.
