02. 08.12.2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the S
tate.
The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.95 of 2015 on the
file of learned S.D.J.M., Berhampur registered under Sections 393/34, I.P.C. read with Sectio
ns 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.
It has been alleged that the Police found some persons threate
ning the truck drivers on the highway and collecting money from them and one accused Ranjit Ku
mar Sahu was apprehended by the Police and basing on his statement the present petitioner has
been implicated in this case.
It is submitted and placed before the Court that charge sheet
has already been submitted in this case and the accused who was arrested in this case has sinc
e been released on bail.
Considering the submissions and the alleged nature of
offences, it is directed that the petitioner on surrender before the learned S.D.J.M., Berhamp
ur in G.R. Case No.95 of 2015 shall be released on bail by executing bond of Rs.15,000/- (rupe
es fifteen thousand) with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the said court
with the condition that he not involve himself in any act of the alleged type.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
