06/16.02.2022. Heard Mr. A.K. Sahani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Vishwanath Ray, learned A.P.P. for the State.
This petition has been taken through Video Conferencing in view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic. None of the parties have complained about any technical snag of audio-video and with their consent this matter has been heard.
Status report is on the record, whereby, it has been informed that charge-sheet has been submitted on 24.11.2017 and on the same date, cognizance has been taken against the petitioner. The petitioner has been declared absconder and non-bailable warrant has been issued against the petitioner.
In view of the status report, I am not inclined to entertain this petition as only FIR is under challenge in this petition.
In view of subsequent development, at this stage, Mr. Sahani learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
Accordingly, this petition is permitted to be withdrawn and the same stands disposed of as such.
