The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1380 of 2018.
The matter was referred for mediation, but the report indicates that the mediation remained unsuccessful on account of the fact that neither the petitioner nor the opposite party no. 2 had appeared.
The allegations reveal that the marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner in the year 2009. It was alleged that there was a demand of dowry and on non-fulfillment of which, she was subjected to torture. On 12.06.2018, the complainant was assaulted by the petitioner with a lathi and she was forced to leave her matrimonial house. The complaint case reveals specific allegation against the petitioner who happens to be the husband of the complainant.
On account of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this application stands rejected.
