The petitioner is an accused in connection with Shikaripara P.S. Case No. 82 of 2018.
It has been alleged that when the informant was alone in her house along with her children, the petitioner had entered and had committed rape upon the informant.
Regard being had to the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence his prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
