The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that some unknown miscreants fled away with the scorpio vehicle. The vehicle was recovered from the possession of one Binod Singh. It is alleged that two persons confessed and on their confession the vehicle was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the petitioner has not confessed his guilt and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail and submits that on the confession of the petitioner the vehicle was recovered. He fairly submits after going through the case diary that there is no criminal antecedent against this petitioner.

Taking into consideration the submission of the parties and also considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 17.11.2017, I am inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Vikki Kumar Singh @ Vikki Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dumka, in connection with Ramgarh, P.S. Case No. 95 of 2017, corresponding to G. R. No. 945 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Officer-in-Charge, Ramgarh Police Station (District Dumka) once in a month and shall mark his attendance. If he fails to appear in any particular month, his bail bonds shall stand cancelled and the Officer-in-Charge would be at liberty to arrest the petitioner.
