The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. A dacoity had taken place in the Branch of Punjab National Bank, Kanke Road, Ranchi. This petitioner was apprehended and he confessed his guilt.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is nothing against this petitioner to implicate him in this case except the confessional statement. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2017 and he has not been put on T.I.P.

Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail but submits that save and except the confessional statement, there is nothing against this petitioner.

Keeping in view the aforesaid fact and submissions, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, petitioner namely, Sonu Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Arvind Kumar-II, Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Gonda P.S. Case No. 141 of 2016 [G.R. No. 7237/2016].
