04/20.02.2018: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner(s).
The learned A.P.P opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for the offence under sections 406, 420, 120B, 379, 411 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that in connivance with the petitioner, the other accused persons are loading excess pig iron for transporting. It is also alleged that clandestinely, the petitioner and others used to sell excess pig iron by showing less quantity in the weighment slips.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.11.2017 and charge-sheet has already been submitted in this case.
In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Ramesh Prasad Choudhary, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Giridih in connection with Giridih(M) P.S. Case No. 390/2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 3222 of 2017.
