Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act, in connection with Chutia Police Station Case No.233 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No.5764 of 2017, pending in the Court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.
From the possession of this petitioner, one 9 m.m. country made pistol was recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has remained in custody since 26.10.2017 and chargesheet has already been submitted in this case.
Taking into consideration the period of custody of the petitioner and the fact that chargesheet has already been submitted, petitioner, namely, Vishal Kumar, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Chutia Police Station Case No.233 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No.5764 of 2017.
