Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing the offence punishable under Sections 328, 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation against the petitioner is that he has abetted the deceased in committing suicide. It is alleged that the petitioner had come to the house of the informant and caught hold of the hand of daughter (deceased) and tried to drag her, but as the informant raised alarm, he fled. The daughter of the informant thereafter committed suicide by allegedly consuming poison. It is thus alleged that the petitioner has committed crime.
Keeping in view the nature of allegation leveled against the petitioner, I am inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, petitioner, namely, Navneet Roy @ Navneet Kr Ray is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Giridih in connection with Dhanwar Police Station Case No.283 of 2016 corresponding to G.R. No.3114 of 2016.
