The petitioner has been made accused in connection with T. Tanger P.S. Case No.42 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.507 of 2015, for the offence under Sections 25(1-B)(a)/ 26(2)/ 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
The petitioner was apprehended on 3.11.2015 and from his possession one rifle loaded with two cartridges were recovered. The petitioner also accepted his involvement in extremist activities.
In the facts of this case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, Ranjit Toppo, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Vikram Anand, learned Judicial Magistrate, Simdega, or his successor, in connection with, T. Tanger P.S. Case No.42 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.507 of 2015.
