Mr. N. Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Ms. R.M. Bora, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. B. Gogoi, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 submits that the case of the petitioner was placed before the State Level Committee, in its meeting held on 19-06-2018, wherein the case of the petitioner was rejected on the ground of not being within the 5% quota.
In that view of the matter, she submits that no contempt petition lies against the respondents.
This Court has considered the minutes of the SLC meeting as well as the order dated 01-10-2018, passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 6867/2018. It is seen that the case of the petitioner was considered by the SLC and was rejected.
Accordingly, no contempt lies against the respondents and this contempt petition is closed.
