Heard Mr. K. R. Patgiri, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr. P. K. Borah, learned counsel for the respondent, has placed before this Court, the copy of the communication, dated 02.04.2024, passed by the Director, Elementary Education Department, Assam, which has been stated to have been so passed in compliance of the directions passed by this Court in the connected writ petition.
On perusal of the said order, dated 02.04.2024, it is seen that the directions as

passed by this Court in the connected writ petition has been complied with and on the recommendations being made in favour of the petitioner, herein, for provincialization of his services; the matter has now been forwarded to the Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Department of School Education, for taking further requisite steps in the matter, and as such, there is no willful and deliberate violation of the Court’s order by the respondent.
In view of the above-noted order, dated 02.04.2024; this contempt petition is accordingly closed.
The copy of the order, dated 02.04.2024, as produced by Mr. Borah, learned counsel, is kept as a part of the record and marked as ‘X’ for identification.
