Learned counsel for the respondent, Mr. Avinash, holding the brief for Mr. G. Kalayan Chakravarthy, submits that he could not argue the matter as the Legal Officer, Ms. Abha Tewari, UCO Bank, has not come yet.

This ground cannot be considered sufficient for adjournment. If the legal officer is so negligent in her duties, necessary action should be taken by the senior officers of the bank.

Let the concerned Zonal Manager of the UCO Bank take appropriate action against the said legal officer, under intimation to this Tribunal, as to why she is not present at the time of hearing of the case even at the second round of the list ?

Let copy of this order be sent forthwith to the concerned Zonal Manager of the respondent bank for compliance.

List the matter on 25.07.2023 for hearing.
