The contention of the petitioner is that the notification
under the Development Plan, Pune (Revised) was issued in relation to land bearing CTS No.256 in the year 1987 and the purchase notice was issued by the original owners on 25-02-2003. Though on 18-06-2003, the Municipal Commissioner proposed to the Standing Committee for acquisition of the said plot, till today neither the acquisition proceedings have been completed nor any steps have been taken.
