This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:
" Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to respondent no. 3 to 5 to consider the petitioners grievance to pay their money forthwith."
From perusal of the record, it transpires that the District Supply Officer, Maharajganj wrote a letter to the District Magistrate, Mahrajganj on 29.9.208, with a copy thereof to the petitioner no.1, requiring them to furnish details with regard to money spent by the petitioners in providing meal to the flood affected villagers so that the entire outstanding dues of the petitioners may be cleared. Learned counsel for the petitioners has not been able to show whether the said information has been furnished by the petitioners to the District Supply Officer or not.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is provided that in case the petitioners approach the District Magistrate concerned along with an application enclosing therewith the relevant documents, as required in the aforementioned letter dated 29.9.2018, the District Magistrate shall take appropriate steps in the matter so that the entire outstanding dues of the petitioners, for which they are entitled, be cleared expeditiously.
With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of .
