This writ petition has been, inter alia, filed for the following reliefs;
(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to provide the financial help to the petitioner or to extend the lease for a period of one year.
(ii) to issue any other order of direction which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
(iii) to award the cost of the petition to the petitioner.
After arguing the matter for quite some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his arguments to the extent that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.5.2019 (Annexure No.8 to the writ petition) pending before respondent no.3 be decided within stipulated time.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent No. 3, Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, Jhansi, ventilating his grievances within a period of three weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its entire Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavour to consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties, expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
