This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following reliefs;

"1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent Authority to Decide the Representation of Petitioner dated 14.11.2018 with regard the G.O/Notification dated 31.10.2017 Issued by State of U.P under Section 21 of U.P. Protection of Trees Act, 1976.

2. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authority to permit the Petitioner to cut their own threes according to The U.P. Protection of trees Act, 1976."

After arguing the matter for quite sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation before the concerned authority in respect of his grievances with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the same within a stipulated period.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Respondent No. 2 ventilating his grievances within 30 days from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavour to consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within 60 days from the date of receipt of the said representation.
