Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 3 and perused the record.

The present petition has been filed for direction upon the respondent authorities to transfer the scholarship/fee reimbursement amount payable to the petitioner for B.Tech sessions 2015-16 and 2016-17 in the bank account of petitioner as per the scheme of the State Government.

Considering the nature of the prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court considers it appropriate to dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to make comprehensive representation before the second respondent (Director, Social Welfare Department, Government of U.P., Lucknow) in respect of his claim. If any such representation is filed enclosing therewith all the relevant documents to show eligibility and entitlement of the petitioner for such scholarship/fee reimbursement along with certified copy of this order within a month from today, the second respondent shall call for report from the authorities concerned including the institution where the petitioner had taken admission and, thereafter, shall take appropriate decision in the matter, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of next six weeks. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for said scholarship/fee reimbursement, then appropriate direction shall be issued in that regard.

With the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed of.
