The apellant-Majidullah has filed this appeal against the judgment and order dated 19.3.1991 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Shahjahanpur in Sessions Trial No.497 of 1991 (State Vs. Majidullah and another), Police Station-Katra, DistrictShahjahanpur, whereby the appellant has been convicted under Section-307 IPC to undergo seven years rigorous imprisonment.
The report of CJM-Shahjahanpur dated 27.3.2018, which is on record on this appeal indicates that Majidullah, sole accused appellant in this appeal has expired 24 years ago.
In view of above, this appeal stands abated.
The appeal is accordingly dismissed as such.
