The appellant- Ram Shanker @ Banty has filed this appeal against the judgment and order dated 29.3.2003 passed by Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.3, Kanpur Dehat in Sessions Trial No.293 of 2000 State Vs. Ram Shanker @ Banty Police Station- Satti, District-Kanpur Dehat whereby the appellant has been convicted under Section 307 IPC to undergo two years rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo two months additional imprisonment.
The report of CJM-Kanpur Dehat dated 24.7.2018, which is on record on this appeal indicates that Ram Shanker @ Banty, sole accused appellant in this appeal has expired .
In view of above, this appeal stands abated.
The appeal is accordingly dismissed as such.
