Section 91. Trial of Offences

(1) No offence punishable under this Act shall be tried by a court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the First class. (2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except on the complaint of the Managing Director or Secretary of Market Committee or such other person, who has been authorized by the Committee by resolution passed in this behalf.
