This criminal petition is hled by the petitioner/accused No.4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.71g of 2015 on the file of Kusaiguda police station, Cyberabad District.

4 Recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor to conduct investigation, this Court is of the view that unless and until investigation is allowed to be

continued truthcannot be elicited' The alleged offences under section 354and 42O of IPC are punishablewith less than seven years. In thesaid circumstances,slncethe punishment prescribed for theoffences alleged against the petitioners is less than sevenyears, without going into meritsof the matter' the respondent-Policeare directed to strictly follow the procedure as contemplatedunder Section 41-A of Cr'P'C' and the guidelines formulated bythe Hon'lcleSupreme Court in Antesh Kumar a' State of Bihorrscrupulouslyand to complete the investigation as expeditiouslyas possible, preferablywithin three (3) months from the dateof receipt of the order of this Court'It is needless to say that, anydeviationin this regardwill be viewed seriously' The petitioners are alsodirectedto cooperateand assist with the investigation.
