calling for report from such appropriate investigating authority^{after investigating} into the manner in which the sale of 11,272 auto rickshaws was made^pursuant to the G-O.Ms.No.9o dated 5.9.2012 by respondents 4 to 6, the documents submitted by the purchasers, the invoices raised, the license number and badge number of such purchaser and the manner in which the registration of the said auto rickshaws was done by the various Regional Transport Authorities falling under the^jurisdiction of the 2nd and 3'd respondent, the documents submitted for such registration by the purchasers and thereafter issue such necessary and appropriate directions basing on the report of the investigating authority and take necessary action against the persons responsible for selling the auto rickshaws on false and fabricated documents and the persons/authorities responsible for registering the auto rickshaws on farse and fabricated documents and the persons/a uthorities responsible for registering the auto rickshaws on false and fabricated documents.

Regard being had to the controversy involved in the aforesaid cases, they were heard together and are being decided by a common order.

The facts of PIL.No.327 of 2Ol4 are reproduced as under:The present public interest litigation has been filed in the year 2Ol4 by an Association of Auto Drivers in respect of relaxation granted by the State Government^{vide G.O'Ms'No'14} dated 28. 11.2014.

The State^{Govemment has granted liberty to the persons} who are holding^{licences, irrespectiveof the category'to} purchase^{Autorickshawswithout scrappingtheold} Autorickshawsandinfactagreatconcernhasbeenshownin respect^{of personsholdinglicences to ply Autorickshan'swithin} rhe limits^{of Greater Hyderabad MunicipalCorporation'}

The^{public interestlitigation was filed in the year 2014} and^{later on the State Governmenthas now taken a policy} decision^{not to register any Autorickshawsunless and until a} person^{producesproof of scrappingof the oid Autorickshaw-}

Meaning thereby, checks and balances^{are in place in respect of} Autorickshaws^plying within the^{limits of Greater Hyderabad} Municipal Corporation.

Therefore, in the considered opinion^of this^Court,cause of action does not survive in the^{presentpublic interest} litigation and the same stands disposed of with a liberty to^{file a} fresh public interest litigation in case any new poliry decision is taken by the State Government.

Consequt:ntly, in view of the aforesaid order passed in the public interest litigation, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition i.e., W.p.No.3I962 of 2013 and the same stands closed.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
