Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the
circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the election notice dated 5.6.2000 issued by the 2nd respondent as illegal arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to hold the elections of the managing committee of the 3rd respondent bank after inclusion of all the persons who were earlier members of the bank and pass such other or further orders as the Hon'ble Court feels deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. ORDER:
The petitioners have questioned the election notice dated 5-6-2000, which is issued for holding elections to the managing committee of the Madanaplle Cooperative Town Bank Limited, Madanapally, Chittoor District.
It is stated, that the very term, for which notice is issued to hold elections to the managing committee of the Madanaplle Cooperative Town Bank Limited, is already expired. In that view of the matter, the subject matter of the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
