Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, submits that in view of the order dated 09.05.2001 passed by this Court in Civil Miscellaneous No.5916 of 2001 in CWP No.8395 of 2000, State authorities were permitted to cut 213 trees to enable them to construct Mini Secretariat at the site. Thereafer, the construction has been raised and Mini Secretariat is working at the site, rendering the present writ petition as infructuous.
In view of the nature of prayer made, coupled with the statement made by counsel for the State, present writ petition does not survive any further and the same is hereby ordered to be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
