By filing this writ petition, issue regarding construction of small religious structures on streets etc. has been brought to the notice of this Court. It is stated that the above structures have been raised contrary to the interim order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP No.8519 of 2006 which is now fixed on 7.9.2012.
This Court is of the opinion that if the matter is already pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, it is not desirable to start parallel proceedings.
This writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to be a party in the pending SLP, if they so desire.
