This is an application for anticipatory bail in case bearing First Information Report No.16 dated March 24, 2012 under Sections 406 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station Women Cell, District Jalandhar.
On July 31, 2012, Sabina, J. passed the following order:-
“In the meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. He shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.”
Learned State counsel has stated that pursuant to the aforesaid order, petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.
In view of above, order dated July 31, 2012 is made
absolute.
