The present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to respondents no.2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and family members of petitioner no.2 at the hands of respondents no.5 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will be satisfied if respondent no.2, i.e., Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, is directed to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 2.7.2012, Annexure P6, already made to him by the petitioners.

Matriculation Examination Certificate, Annexure P1, is 5.2.1989, and date of birth of petitioner No.2- Rajnish Kumar, as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate, Annexure P2, is 14.11.1988. They got married on 2.7.2012, as per marriage certificate, Annexure P3. Photographs of the marriage are Annexures P4 and P5.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2, i.e.,Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 2.7.2012, Annexure P6, already stated to have been moved to him by the petitioners.
