This is a petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 72 dated 16.09.2004 registered against the petitioner under Section 7(13) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Sections 409/354/506 IPC at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur.
Learned State counsel at the outset submits that a cancellation report has been submitted before the competent court on 04.07.2011. He has placed on record affidavit of Gurpreet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Amargarh on record and has referred to para 8 thereof in support of his contention.
In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition at this stage.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
