The only relief sought by the petitioner in this petition is for the issuance of a direction to the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial within a time bound frame.
It is apparent from the record that the FIR in this case was registered in the year 2002. It is otherwise common ground that only one witness has come to be recorded in this case till date and the matter is presently listed for recording of the remaining prosecution witnesses. The case was lastly fixed in the month of September for recording of the prosecution witnesses. Learned counsel are not sure about the next date of hearing.
In the light thereof, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Trial Court to dispose of the trial within 3 months from the next date of hearing fixed before it.
Disposed of accordingly.
