Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with NDPS Case No. 33 of 2024 arising out of Supaul P.S. Case No. 247 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-25(1-B)a, 26 of the Arms Act and 20(a)(i) of NDPS Act.

Allegedly, near the bathroom behind the shop of the petitioner, 328.1 gms Ganja is recovered whereas a countrymade Katta is said to have been recovered from possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of similar

nature. The petitioner is in custody since 11-04-2024.

Learned counsel appearing for the State has

opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, specially the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of similar nature, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Supaul in connection with NDPS Case No. 33 of 2024 arising out of Supaul P.S. Case No. 247 of 2024 with condition that t he petitioner will appear in the court below on each and every date till framing of charge.
