JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 3 18-07-2013 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is languishing in jail since 28.05.2012 in Baruraj P.S. Case No. 147 of 2011 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 392 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of learned SDJM, West Muzaffarpur.
The accusation is of robbing the motorcycle and the earpendant of the wife of the informant. The name of the petitioner sprang up during investigation when recovery was made on the basis of statement of co-accused Ranjit Sah.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is involved in seven other cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the same is rejected.
The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for
bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of one year.
