The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 498A.384, 323, 379/34 I.P.C., 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. C1/61 of 2012. 3. The allegation is with regard to demand of a ‘Palang’ and Television and of mental and physical torture for non-fulfillment thereof. 4. It is submitted that the petitioner was married to the complainant as far back as in May, 2008 and it is in fact the complainant who does not want to reside with the petitioner. In any event the petitioner is willing to keep her with full dignity and honour.
