The petitioner files this application seeking direction to the opposite parties to register the written report under Annexure-1 as F.I.R. and cause investigation into the matter.
Mr. P.K.Muduli, learned Additional Government Advocate states that in view of the law laid down by the apex Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others, (2014) 2 SCC 1, written report should be registered by the police.
In such view of the matter, this Court directs opposite party no.3-I.I.C., Talchuan Marine Police Station, Talchuan, Dist.-Kendrapara to register the written report filed by the petitioner and take follow up action in accordance with law as per the judgment in Lalita Kumari (supra).
With the above observation and direction, the CRLMP stands disposed of.
