1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the Stat
e.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his application for Mutation being Mutation Case No
.3612/2017 is pending before the Tahasildar, Cuttack, opposite party no.2, but the said opposi
te party is not taking any steps for disposal of the same.
3. Keeping in the view the limited nature of the grievance of the petitioner, this Court dispo
ses of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to dispose of the aforesaid Mutation C
ase after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all parties concer
ned and take a decision strictly in accordance with law within a period of three months from t
he date of production of certified copy of this order and dispose of the same by a reasoned or
der. The opposite party no.2 shall act upon production of certified copy of this order.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce the certified copy of this of the
order along with copy of the brief before opposite party no.2 within a period of ten days.
5. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
