18.3.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
 The petitioner at present functioning as Peon in J.G. Simanta High School, Pan
drasahi in the district of Balasore. His grievance is that though the Administrative-cum-Accou
nts Officer-opposite party no.4 has sent a letter on 29.3.2012, vide Annexure-3, to the Contro
ller of Accounts, Odisha, Bhubneswar, for opening of a new G.P.F. account for the petitioner,
but till today the same has not been opened. The petitioner has also made a representation, vi
de Annexure-4, to the Controller of Accounts, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, opposite party no.5, in thi
s regard.

 In view of the fact that the Administrative-cum-Accounts Officer-opposite par
ty no.4 has sent a letter on 29.3.2012, vide Annexure-3, to the Controller of Accounts, Odisha
, Bhubneswar, for opening of a new G.P.F. account for the petitioner, this Court disposes of t
he petition with a direction to the Controller of Accounts, Odisha, Bhubneswar-opposite party
no.5 to take a decision on the said letter within a period of one month from the date of produ
ction of certified copy of this order.
