25.07.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in G.R Case No.417 of 2016 on the file of learned
J.M.F.C., Salipur registered under Sections 193/468/471/420/120-B/34 IPC.
It is alleged that the petitioner who is a doctor prepared a false injury report at th
e behest of one advocate in order to get workmens compensation from the Insurance Company.
It is submitted on behalf of the State that some police officers have been proceeded a
gainst and one has been arrested in this case. It is submitted that the petitioner is a gove
rnment employee and presently working at C.H.C., Salipur and had supplied the medical certific
ate on request of the petitioner without having any criminal intention of cheating the insuran
ce company.
Considering the submissions and the circumstances, it is directed that the pe
titioner on surrender before the learned J.M.F.C., Salipur in the aforesaid case, shall be rel
eased on bail on executing bond of Rs.25,000/-( rupees twenty five thousand) with two suret
ies for the like amount to the satisfaction of the said Court with the conditions that he sha
ll not involve himself in any act of the alleged type and shall appear before the Investigati
ng Officer on the next four Sundays for the purpose of investigation.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
